Certified Geriatric Care Provider
Education Opportunities

WSRCC presents an exciting educational opportunity to all licensed adult family home providers. We have joined with the University of Washington, NW Geriatric Education Center, to provide 52 credits on current geriatric care topics. Nationally and regionally recognized NWGEC faculty from the University of Washington present each topic. The series assists providers in developing and enhancing health promotion interventions to prevent disease and postpone further disability for the older adults they serve.

The hours of education are done at your leisure, in your own home, in the form of videos downloaded from the internet.

Cost:  $300.00 for 52 credits

There is a core curriculum of 15 modules to be completed by all participants. The remaining 20 modules needed to complete the program are personal choices and a total of 35 modules must be completed to obtain the 52 credits
